My name is Peggy Burney from Tennessee. I'm married, have three children and one grandson. I am a Cake Designer/Decorator and Caterer. I am also caretaker of my elderly parents (both 89) and a daughter with Cerebral Palsy. Working with dolls has become my stress outlet.
My mother always sewed and I learned the basics from her and a terrific Home Economics teacher. Later if I was unsure how to make something , I would read and research and try until I could get it right. I was a custom dressmaker for many years which allowed me to have an income while staying home with my kids.
I love doing everything to do with dolls, from repainting to customizing the shoes. My favorite thing is to replicate a real life bride in a doll.....dress, veil, hair, garter, bouquet ....the total doll.
I accept commissions.
Last year I participated in the Couture Doll Design Challenge. It was a lot of fun and I learned a lot.

I ship USPS Priority Mail, and use Flat Rate shipping boxes whenever possible to lessen your shipping costs. Some smaller items may be shipped in padded envelopes.
